Luxury Car Rental in Marbella

Glamour on Four Wheels on the Costa del Sol

From the Golden Mile to the mountain roads of Ronda, Marbella is made for the open road.

Sun, Sea and Sierra

Nowhere on the Costa del Sol does glamour quite like Marbella. The town combines a whitewashed Andalusian old town with the villas of the Golden Mile and the superyachts of Puerto Banús, and arriving in the right car is part of the lifestyle. Behind the coast, the Sierra Blanca mountains add some excellent driving roads. Málaga Airport (AGP) is around 45 minutes away along the AP-7, so you can be on the coast road soon after landing. Veobooker offers luxury car rental in Marbella with flexible pick-up, whether you own a villa in the hills or are spending a week at the Marbella Club Hotel or Puente Romano.

Life in Marbella moves between the golf course, the beach and the marina, and the car you choose can follow it all. Nueva Andalucía is known as the “Golf Valley”, and the Cadillac Escalade or Mercedes-Benz V-Class carries a full set of clubs, luggage and the whole family in comfort. For lunch in the hills, the Ferrari Purosangue makes light work of the winding climb to Benahavís, a village famous for its restaurants. When evening comes, Puerto Banús is the place to be seen, and the Ferrari F8 Spider or Mercedes-AMG SL63 are the cars to arrive in. If you only take one day trip, make it Ronda. The A-397 climbs for a little over an hour through the Sierra de las Nieves, and the Ferrari 812 Superfast GTS turns every bend into a highlight before you reach the famous gorge and the Puente Nuevo. Málaga is around 45 minutes away and Sotogrande’s marina is an easy coastal drive. Gibraltar is also a good day out, as long as you bring your passport for the border.

Driving on the Costa del Sol is simple once you know the options. The AP-7 toll highway is the quickest route along the coast, while the free A-7 runs closer to the sea and gets busier in summer. The narrow lanes of Marbella’s old town and San Pedro Alcántara are largely pedestrian, so it’s easiest to park nearby and explore on foot. In July and August, spaces around Puerto Banús fill up fast, and the underground parking garages are the most practical choice. Most luxury hotels and villas offer private parking, which gives peace of mind with a high-value car. And with sunshine for most of the year, the top can stay down in Marbella long after summer has ended elsewhere in Europe.
